Sewing these bags and using them in place of plastic is my small way of trying to be kind to the environment. These bags are extremely strong. Each week I load mine up my groceries and they handle the weight perfectly – and I’m talking about 3L of milk and 4 bottles of wine in one bag!
They contain little internal loops to help them stay on the bag dispensers at the shops while you fill them, and they have a reinforced box bottom which makes them super easy to fill.
These bags are so light to carry when empty and they take up next to no space; I make sure that I keep a few shoved down into the bottom of my handbag at all times so I’m never caught out at the shops.
All grocery bags are made using quality cotton woven fabric and can easily be machine washed.

These BYO Grocery Bags are made using a Rosie Petal Pattern. If you sew, please make sure you check this pattern out, it is a fabulous sew and such a great way to use up all the lovely woven fabrics I am sure you have stashed away!
All items are handmade in the eastern suburbs of Sydney by me!
